asked the Minister for Education why he has not sanctioned the appointment of a secretary to St. Mary's on the Hill national school, Knocknaheeny, Cork.

St. Mary's on the Hill, national school, Knocknaheeny, Cork, does not qualify for a grant for the employment of a clerk-typist within the terms of the scheme operated by my Department.

asked the Minister for Education when he will appoint a caretaker to St. Mary's on the Hill national school, Knocknaheeny, Cork.

It is expected that St. Mary's on the Hill national school, Knocknaheeny, Cork, will have the necessary teaching staff by September next, to become eligible for a grant for the purposes of the employment of a caretaker under the terms of circular 17/79. The request for the establishment of such a post is being reconsidered in my Department and a communication will issue to the rev. chairman of the board of management at an early date.

asked the Minister for Education the reason he has not sanctioned the appointment of a remedial teacher at St. Mary's on the Hill national school, Knocknaheeny, Cork.

The application received from St. Mary's on the Hill national school, Knocknaheeny, for the appointment of a remedial teacher will be considered in connection with the allocation of such teachers to schools in the school-year 1982-83 with due regard to the total number of applications received and the needs of the situation.
