andMr. Keating asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry if he will state in accordance with the recommendations of the Public Services Organisation Review Group, whether his Department has yet been divided into an Aireacht and executive units with responsibility for policy formulation and implementation, respectively; if not, the reason, and if he intends to make such arrangements.

Proposals for a new structure for my Department on the lines mentioned are the subject of discussions with the Department of the Public Service and will be implemented when a suitable restructuring plan has been finalised.
