andMr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the proposed Creagh national school in Galway.

asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to make a grant for the carrying out of essential maintenance work at Creagh National school, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to provide and complete an extension at Creagh national school, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 267, 268 and 269 together.

It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that the chairman's architect was recently authorised to initiate the preparation of working drawings for the proposed extension to Creagh National School, County Galway.

The chairman submitted an application to my Department for improvements to the school. This application is being examined at present and a decision will be conveyed to the chairman as soon as possible.
