asked the Minister for Health if he will include asthma on the list of illnesses prescribed under the long-term illness scheme.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 292 and 293 together.
Consideration has been given to the inclusion of asthma and certain other conditions in the list of illnesses which qualify for the long-term illness scheme.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend that scheme at present.
