asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the progress made to date in refurbishing Preston Street sorting office, Dublin, in line with the agreement reached with trade union branches; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

An architectural feasibility report on the Preston Street premises has been received from the Office of Public Works and the implications of it are at present being considered in consultation with staff interests.
