asked the Minister for the Environment if he will state for each housing authority (i) the capital allocation provided for in the 1982 (II) Budget; (ii) the amount of each allocation paid; and (iii) when the payments were made.
Written Answers. - Housing Capital Allocations.
The capital provision for local authority housing in the 1982 Public Capital Programme was £167.5 million. An additional £18.5 million was provided in the March budget bringing the total to £186 million which was allocated to housing authorities on 8 March and 2 June. The allocations to the individual authorities, together with the amounts drawn from the Local Loans Fund at 29 October, are set out in a tabular statement which I propose to have circulated with the Official Report.
Payment of the allocations is made direct from the Local Loans Fund to meet expenditure as it occurs throughout the year.
