I understand that work on the construction of the airport cannot commence until the site has been acquired by Donegal County Council. In view of the difficult financial situation prevailing at present it will not be possible to provide financial assistance from the Transport Vote for this project in 1983. Further consideration will be given to this matter when the financial position improves.
