Tenders have been received in my Department in respect of the provision of a new orthopaedic theatre suite at Merlin Park Hospital, Galway. I am not, however, in a position to say when this project can go ahead.
I am at present reviewing the capital allocation of my Department taking account of the contractual commitments entered into, the level of resource available to me and the priorities of the health agencies.
