Vol. 340 No. 4

Written Answers. - Brucellosis Scheme.

443.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will confirm that his Department will now allow a person (details supplied) in County Wexford freedom to move his stock as he has had two free tests on the brucellosis scheme.

There has been a serious problem with brucellosis infection in this herd over the past two years. While the herd has now had two consecutive clear brucellosis tests, a further test is considered necessary before movement restrictions can be lifted. This further test will be arranged on completion of calving in the herd.
