Vol. 340 No. 6

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Treatment.

288.

asked the Minister for Health the action he proposes to take in order to reduce the waiting period for orthodontic treatment which is now three-and-a-half years at the dental department, Galway Regional Hospital.

It is expected that applications will shortly be invited for a new post of consultant orthodontist for the Western Health Board to be based at the Galway Regional Hospital. The filling of this post should greatly reduce the waiting period for orthodontic treatment.
