The provision of a public telephone kiosk at Collinstown Lane, Cloghran, County Dublin, is not regarded as warranted at present and it is not proposed, therefore, to provide one there.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed for about a year.

It is expected that the automatic telephone exchange at Boyle will be operational in about six months. The change-over is dependent on the prior introduction to service of major new trunk switching exchanges at Sligo and Carrick-on-Shannon and these projects are taking longer to commission than was previously anticipated.

Service will be restored within a week or so.

Regrettably the main underground cable was damaged by flooding. Service has now been restored.

The kiosk will be provided as soon as possible after the necessary engineering stores become available.

When the person named was invited to sign an agreement and make advance payment it was expected that telephone service would be provided for her within about three months. Regrettably this was not possible because of an unforeseen difficulty in connection with the cable. It is expected that service will be provided within about a month.
