asked the Minister for Education the reason a person (details supplied) in County Galway who is a national school pupil is not being given free school transport.

: As this pupil is over ten years of age and resides less than three miles from his nearest national school, he is not eligible for free transport under the terms of the Primary School Transport Scheme.

asked the Minister for Education her proposals, if any, to alleviate the serious school transport problem to a post primary school (details supplied) in County Wexford.

: The pupils concerned have a reasonable standard of service within the terms of the school transport scheme. It is not proposed to alter the present arrangements.
