Vol. 341 No. 4

Written Answers . - Meath School Post .

591.

asked the Minister for Education (a) the points ratio for a VEC school (details supplied) in County Meath, for 1981-82; (b) the points ratio needed to create an "A" post in that school; and (c) the date in the school year from which a new post is payable.

: The secondary school in question had a points rating of 912 for the school-year 1981-82. The minimum points rating necessary to warrant an "A" post of responsibility is 1,100. For the 1982-83 school-year the school's points rating exceeds this figure and arrangements are in hand to pay the appropriate allowance to the person nominated by the school manager for the post.
