asked the Minister for Education if she will alter the catchment area for the Castleisland post-primary schools, County Kerry, to enable the townlands of Knockacorrin and Ballahantourigh to be included in the catchment school area for Castleisland; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

: My Department do not consider that an alteration in the Killarney/Castleisland catchment boundary, to facilitate children in the Knockacorrin and Ballahantourigh areas, is warranted.

asked the Minister for Education if she will arrange to have the Cullina area west of Beaufort, Killarney, County Kerry, declared an open area for school transport purposes as between Killorglin and Killarney; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

: The Cullina area west of Beaufort is in the Killorglin catchment area. My Department do not consider that any alteration in the existing catchment boundary between the Killarney/Killorglin catchment areas is warranted.
