asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for the erection of the proposed public telephone kiosk at Glencuttane, Kilgobnet, Beaufort P.O., Killarney, County Kerry, in the grass margin at the junction of the Killarney/Killorglin road which is the most convenient location for the people of the district.

: A site for a telephone kiosk at Glencuttane has been selected adjacent to the junction of the Killarney/Kilorglin road. A site at the junction of these roads is considered to be a traffic hazard.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the present position regarding the proposed erection of a telephone kiosk at Farnes, Castlemaine, P.O., County Kerry.

: The provision of a public telephone at this location is not regarded as warranted at present and it is not proposed therefore to provide one there.

736.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided under the free telephone rental scheme for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry who is an old aged pensioner living alone.

: Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work will be completed before the end of this year.

737.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will correct a fault in the telephone service of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford who is a public representative and who has made many unsuccessful representations to his Department.

: The faults on the subscriber's line are being specially investigated and will be remedied without delay.
