I understand that Kerry County Council are at present negotiating with a number of landowners for the purchase of a reservoir site for the Castlemaine regional water supply scheme from which a water supply will be provided for the Kiltallagh/Ballyfinnane group water supply scheme. Contract documents for the regional scheme were approved by my Department on 5 May 1983 and the county council are to seek tenders for the construction of the scheme.
