Payment of the first phase of the subsidy will be made following the receipt from the applicant of the appropriate claim form certified by his lending agency.
The mortgage subsidy scheme was revised, by the previous Government, from a three to a five year scheme in respect of applications received on or after 21 October 1982. This application was received in my Department on 22 October 1982 and the applicant is entitled to the subsidy over a five-year period. He has been so informed.
