IDA grants have been approved for 595 food processing projects in the last five years (1978-1982 inclusive). In the same period, 186 projects have been approved for aid under the FEOGA scheme on the marketing and processing of agricultural and fishing products.
No details are readily available concerning the number of projects that have not been proceeded with. To compile this information for the period in question would require the commitment of staff resources to an extent which would not appear to be justified.
