Vol. 342 No. 10

Written Answers. - Hospital Casualty Fee.

705.

asked the Minister for Health (a) whether the £5 hospital casualty fee is to be retained indefinitely; (b) whether it applies to every visit made to casualty and (c) whether there are any exemptions.

I am having the question of charges for visits to casualty departments of hospitals examined in the light of information which has recently come to hand to ascertain the present practice and so that I can have the matter reviewed.
