asked the Minister for Defence when his Department will confirm in writing to Dublin Corporation that they will make available the site of the married quarters in Arbour Hill, Dublin, for housing development as indicated by his Department some time ago, provided the corporation rehouse the families resident in those quarters.

With a view to the rehousing of the families in question, my Department have written to the corporation indicating that it would be prepared to make the site available for the building of additional houses, subject to conditions to be agreed. I understand that the corporation are at present considering what the precise boundaries of the site should be, having regard to access and other factors.
