Limerick East): The allocation of Garda manpower as between foot patrols and other duties in any particular area is a matter for the local Garda officers.
The Garda authorities report that eight newly-trained gardaí took up duty at Rathmines station on 20 May and this additional manpower has facilitated increased foot patrolling in all areas served by the station, including the Cowper Road area.
