Approval to the sanctioning of a loan for the scheme in question had to be deferred until land necessary for the scheme had been acquired by the local authority. I understand that acquisition has now been completed and I have therefore recommended approval of a Local Loans Fund loan of £660,000 to the Office of Public Works in respect of the scheme.
