Vol. 343 No. 5

Written Answers. - Compensation by OPW.

599.

asked the Minister for Finance when compensation will be paid by the Office of Public Works to a person (details supplied) in County Meath, for damage and inconvenience due to drainage work on his property.

The compensation claim in question cannot be resolved until such time as the remaining works in the area to be carried out under the Boyne drainage scheme including some further work on the claimant's holding are complete. The Commissioners of Public Works are not in a position at present to state when these works will be carried out.
