The report of the survey has been presented to my Department and officers of the Department have met with officials of the National Rehabilitation Board and discussed the report and its recommendations. Later this month officers of the Department of Education will also be meeting with officials of the National Rehabilitation Board to discuss the report. Following this meeting the two Departments should be in a position to decide on the question of financial assistance towards the cost of radio-microphone hearing aids for selected cases.
