asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan.
When the person named notifies my Department that the work specified by my Department's inspector on 20 April 1983 has been completed and that he is in permanent occupation of the house, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of a grant.

The grant in this case will be paid shortly.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £3,000 mortgage subsidy and a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and the reason it has not been paid.
This grant could not be paid until an inspection established that the house had been satisfactorily completed and occupied and all other conditions applying to the grant scheme had been complied with. Such an inspection was carried out in this case recently and the grant will be paid shortly. There is, however, no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for mortgage subsidy from the person named.
