Vol. 344 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tipperary Land Deal.

714.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the reason his Department has not yet paid a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary for land purchased from him which was agreed to five years ago; the amount that will be paid by his Department; and when it will be paid.

This transaction consists of an exchange of land, without any cash payment involvement, between my Department and the person referred to. I understand that the legal aspects of the matter were finalised recently and that arrangements are in train to complete the exchange on the ground.
