There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.
There is, however, an application from a person with the same surname and address, but with a different christian name. A grant cannot be paid in this case because, contrary to a qualifying condition of the relevant scheme, a claim for payment of the grant was not received in the Department by 31 January 1980.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
A grant will be approved in this case on receipt of evidence of planning permission for the building of a septic tank. The applicant was requested to submit this documentation on 22 June 1983.
