asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in view of the lack of post office facilities in the Knocknaheeny area, Cork, with 1,500 homes and a population of 8,000 and the inconvenience being caused to the people of the area, when it is intended to locate a post office there.

It is intended to establish a post office at Knocknaheeny in the near future. Applications for appointment as postmaster/postmistress will be invited shortly.
