Written Answers. - Postal Service.

482.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the disturbance to postal services in the Ballymacarby area, County Waterford due to the recent appointment of a member to the outdoor staff and the resulting unrest; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Postal deliveries in the area mentioned were disrupted from 18 May to 24 May 1983, when three members of the local outdoor staff engaged in unofficial industrial action. Normal service was resumed on 25 May 1983.
