A survey is being carried out to ascertain when service can be provided for the person named.
The applicant will be advised of the result of the survey as soon as it is completed.

I am aware of the needs of the applicants for telephone service. The necessary cabling work to enable telephone service to be provided is in progress and it is expected that service will be provided during the last quarter of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have his Department re-examine claims that there has been persistent overcharging on the telephone account of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13 over the past year; and if he will take steps to have this situation remedied.
The accounts concerned have been re-examined as requested but there is no evidence of the subscriber having been overcharged for direct dialled, i.e. metered, calls. A credit of £3.29 was allowed in her 4/82 account against two operator controlled calls which, due to clerical error, were wrongly billed to her account.
