Vol. 345 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tallaght (Dublin) Post Office Facilities.

319.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the position regarding the provision of post office facilities in Springfield Estate, Tallaght, County Dublin, having regard to the fact that the nearest facilities are not adequate to meet the reasonable needs of the residents of this estate.

I recently approved the establishment of a Sub-Post Office for the Springfield area of Tallaght. Applications for appointment as postmaster/postmistress at the new Sub-post office are being invited at present and provided a suitable candidate with satisfactory premises is forthcoming an appointment will be made at an early date.
