Arising from the consideration of the plans submitted by the West Mayo Fishermen's Co-Operative Society a preliminary survey to assess the site problems at Darby's Point in relation to foundations, tidal currents, and so on has been undertaken by the Office of Public Works. The report on this preliminary survey is at present being examined in my Department and until this study is completed I cannot say what further action will be taken in regard to the plans submitted by the co-operative.
