A capital grant of £7,000 has been provisionally allocated to Dungarvan Youth Club under my Department's community, youth, recreational and employment programme.
Capital grants were provisionally allocated under this programme in February-March 1982 to specific projects throughout the country. Due to cancellations, a small saving has materialised and I have, therefore, been able to reallocate provisionally a capital grant sum to Dungarvan Youth Club from the funds which were committed under the community, youth, recreational and employment programme.
My Department have requested certain necessary information and documentation regarding the proposed project from the club. On receipt of the requested information and documentation, an officer of my Department will arrange a meeting with representatives of the youth club to discuss the question of grant approval and payment.
