asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
A new house grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and complies with all the other conditions of the grant scheme. This further inspection will be arranged when the applicant notifies my Department that all outstanding work has been carried out.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a mortgage subsidy and a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.
The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of the grant. If a mortgage subsidy is approved payment of the first instalment will be made when the grant is paid and the applicant submits the appropriate claim form.
