Vol. 347 No. 3

Written Answers. - Kerry River Improvement Works.

222.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will grant a special allocation from his Department to Kerry County Council in 1984 for urgently required improvement works to a stretch of the River Flesk which is subject to serious flooding bearing in mind that it will be at least 15 years before this river will be drained under the Office of Public Works major drainage programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I regret that there are no funds available to me to grant a special allocation for works of this kind.
