The person concerned is a clerical assistant in my Department who is seeking a transfer to Mullingar employment exchange. There appears to be some misapprehension regarding her position on the transfer list; in August 1983 her position was 27th on the list and there has been no change in the situation since then.
All applications from employees of my Department for transfer to Government offices outside Dublin are dealt with in accordance with the terms of an agreement made centrally with the staff side under the Civil Service conciliation and arbitration scheme.
