Contract documents for stage 3 of the Ballina town water supply scheme for the improvement of the Ballina water supply, have been submitted to my Department by Ballina UDC. The council were requested on 6 October 1983 to submit to my Department a certificate that all necessary planning for the scheme has been completed. The submission of this certificate is awaited and is necessary to enable me to give further consideration to the proposals for the scheme.
