Written Answers. - Bord Iascaigh Mhara Staff Transfers.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry if arising out of his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 414 of 13 March 1984 he will give a broad breakdown of a sum of £750,000 which was covering the cost of transferring the staff of Bord Iascaigh Mhara from their present headquarters in Hume House, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, to their new offices in Dún Laoghaire; and the total rent paid for the vacant premises in Dún Laoghaire, covering the period from the signing of the lease to 29 February 1984.

The answers to the Deputy's questions are as follows:

(a) The cost of the BIM transfer to Dún Laoghaire is estimated at IR£750,000. Fitting out accounts for 79 per cent of the estimated cost, with professional fees and removal expenses accounting for 11 per cent and 10 per cent respectively.

(b) The total rent paid by BIM for the Crofton Road premises to 29 February 1984 amounted to IR£722,120.90p.
