Vol. 350 No. 4

Written Answers. - Leinster House Statuary.

581.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will list the statuary in the lawn area of Leinster House; and when they have last been cleaned.

The statuary in the lawn area of Leinster House are of Sir Robert Stewart and Prince Albert.

It has not been possible to ascertain when these statues were last cleaned. The Commissioners of Public Works are at present examining how statues of this kind can be cleaned most effectively and they expect to have the cleaning done at an early date.
