asked the Minister for the Environment in respect of each county council and county borough council, (a) the total amount of money which was projected to be raised by domestic water charges during 1983, and (b) the actual amount raised.

2. The figures for some counties (indicated in the schedule) are inclusive of revenue from non-domestic water charges.

3. Cork Corporation does not have a separate domestic water charge but has a "service charge" for domestic services.

4. Waterford Corporation did not in fact levy a water charge but had included a figure of £186,400 in their estimates.

5. Collection of arrears of 1983 charges continues in 1984.
