Staffing levels are determined in accordance with the Rules for National Schools by reference to average enrolments. In the case of the school in question the enrolment does not warrant an additional appointment. This school has had a concession of one teacher above the quota on ordinary staffing since 1982-83 and has, in addition, a remedial teacher.
