The closing date for receipt of applications for the 1983-84 ewe premium scheme was 22 April 1983 but as a concession application forms were accepted up to 24 June 1983. As the person named did not apply until after the extended closing date his application was refused by my Department. Application forms were issued to registered flockowners but intending applicants who had not received application forms were given adequate notice and advised to apply for them to the Department in the advertisements inserted in the daily, local and farming press.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to have an outstanding grant for land improvement paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.
The grant will be paid shortly together with a number of other grants certified about the same time.
