Vol. 354 No. 7

Written Answers. - Turbary Allotment.

819.

asked the Minister for Agriculture his Department's policy in relation to the allocation of bog in various areas in south Kerry and west Kerry in cases where landowners and householders have no turbary at present, but are most anxious to be allotted turbary by the Land Commission and his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

All usable turbary held by the Land Commission in south and west Kerry is utilised to provide bog plots for deserving applicants either by way of allotment or seasonal letting.
