Mr. J. O'Leary

asked the Minister for Finance the primary schools and Garda stations in Kerry which will be renovated and improved during 1985.

It is expected that schemes of improvement, as outlined, will be carried out in the following national schools in County Kerry in 1985.

Naomh Erc (Ballydavid)	Provision of toilets
Dún Chaoin	Provision of toilets
Cillín Liath	Provision of ballcourt
Cahirciveen Christian Brothers	Replacement of windows and panels
Ballybunion	Provision of fencing and safety entrance
Coars	Renewal of window and door panels

The sanction of grants has been recommended to the Department of Education in respect of improvement schemes, as outlined, in the following national schools.

Ventry	Provision of toilets and roof works
Scartaglen	Provision of playspace
Tiernaboul	Provision of toilets
Dromerin	Roof works

Depending on when grants are sanctioned by the Department of Education it is possible that a start will be made on these schools in 1985. I am assuming that the Deputy is not referring to routine maintenance of national schools.

Renovations and/or improvement works at the following 31 Garda stations are programmed for County Kerry in 1985.

Abbeydorney	External painting and minor repairs.
Annascaul	External and internal painting, roof, chimney, window and outoffice repairs.
Ardfert	External and internal painting.
Ballinskelligs	Sewer connection.
Ballybunion	Provision of new cells, external painting, replastering, masonry and other repairs.
Ballyheigue	Part internal painting and minor repairs.
Ballyduff	General alterations, external painting and roof repairs.
Ballyferriter	External painting, replacement of toilet and minor repairs.
Ballylongford	External and internal painting and minor repairs.
Beaufort	External painting, replacement of doors and windows, roof overhaul, rebuild chimney stacks and improve septic tank.
Brosna	External and internal painting, roof repairs, repair to boundary wall and minor repairs.
Cahirciveen	External painting and minor repairs.
Castlegregory	External and internal painting, roof repairs and minor repairs.
Castleisland	External painting and minor repairs.
Castlemaine	External and internal painting, new floors and part replastering.
Cloghane	Part internal painting and minor repairs.
Dingle	Internal painting and minor repairs.
Farranfore	External and internal painting, roof and chimney repairs.
Fenit	External and internal painting and minor repairs.
Glenbeigh	External and part internal painting, rebuilding of chimney stacks and minor repairs.
Headford	External painting, rebuilding of chimney stacks, replacement of windows and minor repairs.
Kenmare	External painting, roof, window and door repairs, repointing of stonework.
Killarney	Part internal painting and minor repairs.
Knocknagoshel	Provision of new boundary wall.
Lauragh	Internal painting.
Listowel	External and part internal painting.
Lixnaw	Internal and external painting, roof repairs, window and door repairs and minor repairs.
Moyvane	Reslating of entire roof, rebuilding of chimney stacks and minor repairs.
Portmagee	Internal painting and minor repairs.
Sneem	Internal painting.
Valentia	External and internal painting and minor repairs.
