The acting inspector of mental hospitals visited the patient in question on 11 December 1984 under section 239 of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945. Following consideration of his report I directed by Order of 19 December 1984 that the patient be discharged from hospital. The patient was discharged on 20 December 1984.
