Vol. 355 No. 1

Written Answers. - Health Boards Agency Services.

406.

asked the Minister for Health the agency services carried out by the health boards on behalf of local authorities; if this arrangement is satisfactory financially and otherwise; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Services are provided by health board staffs in relation to health aspects of certain services provided by local authorities, such as housing and sanitary services. As far as I am aware, these arrangements are satisfactory. An appropriate charge is made by health boards for the services provided.
