Vol. 355 No. 4

Written Answers. - Relocation of Blackpool (Cork) Clinic.

432.

asked the Minister for Health if he will immediately investigate the reasons the Southern Health Board has decided to remove the immunisation service for babies from Blackpool community centre, Cork and relocate it at Grattan Street, Cork, as this move will cause serious inconvenience and hardship to many mothers on the north side of Cork city.

I understand from the Southern Health Board that the Blackpool clinic has been relocated to more modern premises at Grattan Street, Cork, where it is more convenient to a greater number of people. The board is, however, currently considering the possibility of continuing a service at the Blackpool clinic.
