: I move:
(1) That paragraph (a) of section 75 (2) of the Finance Act, 1980 (No. 14 of 1980), shall be amended—
(a) with effect as on and from the 31st day of January, 1985, by the substitution of "£0.30" for "£0.20", and
(b) with effect as on and from the 1st day of March, 1985, by the substitution of "£0.40" for "£0.30" (inserted by this Resolution).
(2) It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1927 (No. 7 of 1927).
