asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a reconstruction grant available to a person (details supplied) in County Cork whose house was seriously damaged by fire.

The file in this case has been referred to my Department's inspector for a report on the applicant's eligibility for a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.
