A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is complete and occupied and that all conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. My Department's inspector has been asked to carry out the inspection as soon as possible.

The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy was paid on 11 February 1985.
